A browser-based real-time 3D configurator for W Motors' limited-production hypercar, letting buyers customize options down to the stitching.
Hypercars demand ultra-high fidelity details, which traditionally require slow, server-side offline renders. The challenge was displaying complex paint reflections, metallic flakes, carbon fiber weaves, and custom interior stitching live in a browser at 60 FPS.
We built a web-optimized 3D configurator using PlayCanvas and WebGL with Draco-compressed geometry. The system lets users swap paints, caliper colors, carbon trims, and leather details dynamically while maintaining studio-grade lighting.
